TRUNK IS SMOOTH AND LIGHT COLORED
SUPER COLD HARDY
This is one of my favorite Sabal species and I’m sure it may become one of yours as well. It’s native to various Caribbean Islands including Puerto Rico and Cuba. It can get to height of at least 35 feet and has a trunk that is quite thick, smooth and a light tan to gray color. Trunks can be up to 30 inches in diameter. They are almost like a concrete pillar. Leaf color is blue-green. Growth rate is good and it likes full, hot sun. Cold tolerance is into the mid-teens F. The size we’re putting on sale is 5 gallon. These can be mail ordered.
