THE BLUE PINDO OR JELLY PALM
NICE BLUE LEAVES – FULL SUN – VERY COLD HARDY
This is a unique variety of Butia capitata that has a nice blue color. Otherwise, it’s quite similar to the regular green Pindo Palm. This palm loves full hot sun and can take down to 15 degrees F. Growth rate is medium. Almost everyone that doesn’t get severe cold can grow this palm. Garden photo by Paul Craft. Note: The blue color is variable with these plants.
