EPIPHYTIC FERN THAT LIVES IN TREES

Mature height: Form epiphytic clumping plants that in many decades can reach several meters width

Size shown: 8 inch container grown as cluster of plants
Comments: This species grows in trees. Often all you see when you look up in the rainforest, all you see is a large clump of leaves with their brown shields. We sell them mounted on wood (sort of epiphytic) where you’d hang them on a branch or a nail in a fence. Occasionally we sell them in baskets as shown below. Give them part sun. Spray them about ever week or so with water and fertilize them every few months with liquid fertilizer. They are reliable performers when grown correctly.
Note: The plants we have available are various sizes but none are small. They can be mail ordered. Some have grown it indoors but needs misting and occasional deep watering.
