About two dozen super blue Encephalartos just arrived at the nursery.  All plants below are South African cycads.  Almost all of them are in the 15 gallon size.  Caudex sizes are variable but most are shippable plants and reasonably affordable.  Figure pricing at around $130 per diameter inch with an extra charge for pups.  All were outdoor grown in sun and will want your full sun unless you live in a desert area.  Figure cold tolerance at about 20 – 22 degrees F.  All are desirable species and all should be a nice addition to the garden.  Blue cycads are the most popular cycads we sell and, right now, we’re loaded with a lot of the 15 gallon size.  Almost all of these are a shippable size but only within the U.S.  Size in inches below is the “caudex size” – basis for cost of the plant.  Also, we do have additional plants these sizes / species that are not shown here.
