GETS TALLER THAN P. CORONATA – BEING GROWN BY COLLECTORS
It’s been a few years since we’ve offered this rare single trunk Pinanga from the island of Java, Indonesia. A different thing about this species is that it is single trunk. Juvenile plants have solid, simple leaves as shown in the photos. But, over time, they become pinnate leaves as seen on the larger garden specimen. The mature trunk is thin and ringed. Leaves are six feet long or more – green in color. The thing about this species is that no one has it! Shown are the 15g plants we’re putting on Special. It wants filtered light and is cold hardy down to about a freeze.
