The nursery plants shown here are nice one gallon size. They are about three years old. This species is native to Brazil and lives near the ocean, often on sandy dunes near beaches. In general, it is very slow growing. Mature height height is about six feet. The leaves are plumose and fluffy. It is a single trunk species although it has the appearance of being a suckering species. It loves sun and heat.
