Encephalartos arenarius is a rare South African cycad that is medium sized mature and has green to blue leaves with prominently barbed leaflets. The plants on sale are the blue form. Along the coast is wants part day sun or possibly full sun. It can tolerated bright filtered light and is cold hardy to 22 degrees F. Leaf color is blue in sun. These would be simple to mail order..
