This species is somewhat different than the Black Goblet above in the the leaves are more flat. It tolerates sun or part sun and has a sheen to the leaves. Leaves are black and maroon on the ventral side. Leaf stems are purple-red. Plants will cluster. Cold weather makes them underperform but this species tolerates a freeze. Do not water hardly at all during cold winter months.
