A friend of mine did this cross and they are turning out to be very beautiful blue cycads. And, yes, they are spiny.
I have no mature photos to show. Anticipate a mature plant with three to six feet of trunk when mature and billiant blue color.
Give it full coastal sun, a few hours of sun in the desert. Cold hardiness hould be low 20’s F.
