This is an unusual type of King Palm – Single trunk, crown shafted, swollen base, red emergent new leaf and steps at the growth rings. Green leaves with silver undersides. Along the coast takes full sun, part sun far inland. Get to thirty feet or a bit more. Cold tolerant to about 25 degrees F.
