This suckering Aechmea species has been growing in our full sun. These Bromeliads are in one gallon pots and many are suckering. The blossoms are huge with yellow flowers and pink stems. The foliage is a silver-purple. These are easy to grow and cold hardy into the mid to upper twenties F.
