For years we’ve been selling the regular Ligularia but just got in a small number of the giant Leopard form. This species has larger green leaves with yellow splotches. It is native to Japan. Plant height mature is about 2 feet. If they get dry, the leaves will droop but respond quickly to water. Blossoms are yellow in the Fall. You have to keep snails away from them. They’ll take full or part sun along the coast and want filtered light far inland. Cold hardiness is into the mid-twenties or lower. Ok for zone 7. This variegated variety of Ligularia is difficult to find. Five gallon size is shown below.
