SEVERAL PLANTS PER POT
LOOK BEST IN GROUPS OF TWO OR THREE PLANT TOGETHER
For anyone who’s looked for this species lately, you realize it’s in very short supply. This is because of a several year shortage of seeds the past few years. We are pleased to presently three different sizes, all on sale. I’m showing photos of our 5 and 15 gallon here. All are multiples with at least 3 plants per pot. This species gets up to about 14 feet height with a green, ringed trunk about 1.5 inches in diameter. The leaves are plumose or fluffy. They are quick growing and perfect for narrow planter areas. It will take full coastal sun. Cold hardiness is into the mid-twenties F. It can also be used as a houseplant in a bright area. We’re putting on sale popular sizes of 5 and 15g plants. But, we also have one gallon size available as well. The 5g and 1g sizes are shippable for mail order. In the first two rows of photos you’ll see our 15g followed by a row showing our 5 gallon size. If we run out of plumosa, we do have similar sizes of Chamaedorea glaucifolia, which is almost a twin-species to the plumosa.
