SMALL TRUNK – SILVER BACK TO LEAVES
This smaller and very cute fan palm is native to areas of Florida, Mexico and into the Caribbean. It has a blue green leaf color with more prominent silver on the underside of the leaf. Mature height is rarely to twenty feet. Leaves are about three to four feet across and prominently divided into segments. It likes heat and sun. It might also do well in desert areas. Cold hardiness is into the mid-twenties F. We are putting our 2 gallon plants on sale. This species is ideal for people who want shorter but attractive sun tolerant palms. But, particularly in pots, it is slow growing.
Just mention this Blog Special when you purchase for your discount. BTW, I mentioned this species is slow growing. The plant shown is five years old. |
