OVERHEAD PURPLE-GREEN LEAVES
EXTREMELY DIFFICULT TO FIND
This Lily is native to all sorts of locations throughout the world including southern Asia, Australia, and Africa. It is known for it’s spiraling display of long, heavy substance leaves that are upright and four to six feet long. Their color is green and dark purple. Flowers are white with purple centers and markings. It grows like other Lilies by making offset tubers that make new plants. Expect a mature height of six to seven feet, definitely overhead. As mentioned, they clump and form a great display of foliage. They will not “run” or take over an area. In recent times these have been near impossible to find. But, we have a limited number of smaller 15 gallon that we’re putting on sale. We only have a handful of them and they’ll be gone soon. I’m also showing a garden specimen and photos of the blossoms below.
